Can anybody use askthetribe?
Anyone over the age of 18 is free to join askthetribe. Simply complete the registration details and click on the link in the e-mail and you are good to go. Ask away.

Will my information be passed on?
The information you give will not be passed on to other companies, though you should be aware that as with other sites, your user details, photos and personal details that you post as user details will be visible to other users. If you do not want others to see certain aspects of your details, please edit your profile.

What happens if someone abuses the service?
If anyone abuses the service or other users, they can be reported to report@askthetribe.com. If they have been abusive their account will be deleted.

How many questions can I ask?
You can ask (and answer) as many questions as you like. The only limit to the number of questions you ask is based on your curiosity.

How many people will answer my questions?
This depends on a number of issues; the nature of your question, its relevance to all users, how interesting other users find it.

Are the answers statistically representative?
The answers that you get will be based on users of the askthetribe.com service. askthetribe.com makes no claim to it being statistically significant of any particular groups.

Can I edit my user profile?
Yes, you need only click on the edit profile link at the top of the page

What is askthetribe.com?
askthetribe.com is a service where you can ask questions to all users on whatever topics that matter to you rather than those that matter to survey companies.

What are the tribes?
The tribes are groups of users who share similar global values. The tribes are based on users answering the join a tribe questionnaire in a similar way. Currently we are collecting answers and will analyse responses when sufficient users have completed the questionnaire.

Can I delete a question?
If you want to delete a question, simply e-mail the ask the tribe team at ask@askthetribe.com with the question that you wish to delete.
